Our Staff

Our staff is comprised of 70+ technical staff coaches and medical staff. Many of the staff members listed below are lead staff that have been with us for many years. Most of them play a very large role for us with four of them hosting Camp Shutout winter Roadshows, summer Roadshows, and/or residential camps along with their GK brand.

Stan Anderson

“Simply helping a GK get from A to B is the end goal of this camp. Sometimes that is from us to college and then to the pro level..being involved in dreams (at any level) is a blessing.

Stan is the Founder of Camp Shutout since day 1 when we had 3 GKs and an actor. Currently, he is the Goalkeeping Director in the USSDA at FC United in Northfield, IL and is a member of the UIC men’s soccer coaching staff. Stan has coached for 22 years at the men’s D1 level with 8 of those teams advancing to the NCAA tournament, with the Chicago Fire for 5 years and earned a USSDA National Championship while also spending portions of the 2015 and 2016 seasons with the Fire First Team.

Chris Dadaian

“The staff means the world to me as they’re true professionals on the field and amazing personalities off the field. It truly makes me appreciate the unique aspects of being a goalkeeper and the Camp Shutout staff breathes life into the saying ‘as a goalkeeper you play a lonely position, but you’re never alone’. “

Chris is the Director of Camp Shutout and has worked side by side with Stan for the past 20+ years. He has been an integral part of the continued growth and success in both size and quality of the camp. Chris played at UW-Milwaukee from ’98-’02 where he owns the vast majority of goalkeeping records including: career wins, single season wins, career shutouts, and single season shutouts. Eric Wiberg

Stevens Point, WI – Roadshow Director

It is simply the people. The staff, the goalkeepers.. all striving for excellence. Working their asses off for a week and bruised and dirty and sweaty, yet always striving to better themselves, to persevere, to overcome. The learning never stops.

Since 2006, Eric runs Wiberg’s Wisconsin Goalkeeper School in Stevens Point Wisconsin. His school has helped many high school goalkeepers get recruited to play at the collegiate level in all divisions. Eric has been coaching the goalkeepers at UW-Stevens Point since 2007. While most of his goalkeeping knowledge was picked up from being exposed to Camp Shutout, he continues to present opportunities for many goalkeepers to grow and continue their careers and hosts Stevens Point Roadshow.

John Clark

West Michigan – Roadshow Director

“If you want to be the best, you need to work with the best: The Camp Shutout family. And it is just that, a family. A family of goalkeepers and goalkeeper coaches that make Camp Shutout what it is, the best keeper camps around. Period.”

John has been involved with Camp Shutout since 2008, when my daughter attended the first Road Show in Stevens Point. After attending John saw the environment Camp Shutout provided and worked with Stan to create the first MI Road Show in 2009. He is currently the Director of Camp Shutout – Michigan. ( Camp Shutout West Michigan – Summer Road Show, Camp Shutout West Michigan – Residential Camp, and Camp Shutout West Michigan – Winter Road Show) I run Clark Keeper Training in Grand Rapids, where I coach keepers in small groups, for local clubs, and at Camp Shutout West Michigan.

Kaitlin Kelly

Staff Coach

“Camp Shutout is the most fun I have each year.  My first year as a camper, I was brand new to the position with almost zero training, and I was placed in a group which immediately tapped into my potential. Every coach I worked with gave me honest feedback, and the level and intensity of training challenged me and helped to build confidence in my abilities.”

Kaitlin has not missed camp since 2003, the first 4 as a camper and the rest as a staff assistant and then staff member. She played at St. Cloud State University, and then was the Graduate Assistant Soccer Coach at Wayne State College.  Kaitlin also works with some goalkeeper coaching with Minnesota Youth Soccer Association.

Joe Zimka

Staff Coach

“Camp Shutout is without a doubt, the best goalkeeper specific soccer camp in the United States. Camp Shutout is a great environment for young goalkeepers to get better and have fun doing it. I only wish I could have been a camper when I was younger.”

Joe has been a staff member at Camp Shutout since 2008, and has coached more Camp Shutout events than any other coach on staff (besides Stan). He currently is the Varsity Assistant and Goalkeeper Coach at Barrington High School in Barrington, IL. Joe played collegiate soccer at Northern Illinois University ’05-’09. While there, set two NCAA D1 soccer records for save percentage (.955) and lowest GAA (.210) in the country. Joe was also named to the “TOP 50 Athletes of All Time at NIU” in 2009.

Jameson Kronser
